Frieze London features more than 160 of the world’s leading galleries - from 8th-11th October Londoners will be able to explore and purchase art from over 1,000 of today’s leading artists at the 2020 Frieze London Fair in Regent’s Park!
Alongside Frieze London runs Frieze Masters, which brings together thousands of years of art and 130 of the world’s leading galleries in a unique, contemporary context, celebrating everything from Old Masters to ethnographic art. Frieze Sculpture runs from July to October, displaying sculptures from 23 international artists in the nearby English Gardens.!
And if the art itself isn’t enough, the annual curated programme includes Frieze Artist Award, presenting new, site-specific works by contemporary artists; Frieze Music, the fair’s off-site music programme; and Frieze Talks, a dynamic series of panel discussions, conversations and keynote lectures. In the curated gallery sections, Focus features presentations by galleries aged 16 years or younger and Live is a space for performance and participation works.!
So whether you’re drawn by the artworks, talks or highly anticipated pop-ups from some of London’s favourite restaurants (Petersham Nurseries and Bodega Rita’s, for example), this is sure to be an excellent way to spend an October weekend.!
