Exhibition: Emma Talbot - The Age/ L'età

Emma Talbot, winner of the 2020 Max Mara Art Prize for women will be displaying her solo show at the Whitechapel Gallery, where large-scale, hand-painted silk panels hang alongside three-dimensional works and animation. Talbot explores themes around the cycle of life, humanity's relationship with nature and the consequences of capitalism. After six months of travelling through Reggio Emilia Catania and Rome soaking in the history of the region and learning their traditions of craftsmanship, you will witness the results of her Italian residency at ‘The Age/ L'Età’
