The Chef 

Simon Rogan is the British Founder and head chef of two Michelin-starred L'Enclume restaurant in Cartmel, England. He is also the founder of several other dining establishments in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, including Rogan & Company, The French, and Aulis. Simon Rogan is known for his innovative and creative cuisine, which combines classical techniques with modern twists and a strong focus on local and seasonal ingredients. The area

 Cartmel is a charming village in Cumbria, located in the southern part of the Lake District National Par. The village has managed to retain much of its historic character and charm, despite the modern influences of tourism.

With a long and rich history that dates back to the medieval period, Cartmel has become a popular tourist destination known for its picturesque streets, historic buildings, and beautiful countryside.

In the 12th century, Cartmel was established as a Priory, and the historic ruins of Cartmel Priory can still be seen in the village today. The Priory was one of the largest and most important religious institutions in the area, and it played a key role in the development of the village.

The village is now home to several local businesses, including shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, and it attracts visitors from all over the world making it ideal for a countryside break away from city life.
